Have you ever thought about going for a tantric massage because you’ve heard many interesting but at the same time contradictory information about it that piques your curiosity but doesn’t inspire your trust?
There are many myths and ambiguities about this incredibly intriguing type of bodywork. Its name is often used by people performing erotic massage, yet much is said about its uniqueness, spirituality, and sanctity.
Where does tantric massage come from and what is it?
So what is it all about? This massage originates from the word “tantra”, which meant “weaving, expanding” and from ancient philosophical-spiritual texts, originating from Indian or Buddhist tantra, which contained descriptions of practices aimed, among other things, at human development, expanding consciousness, leading to enlightenment.
It is difficult today to determine what form tantric massage once took and under what name it originally appeared. One thing is certain, it originates
from cultures where bodywork through touch was of great importance.
It was brought to Europe and it can be said that here it was
popularized and evolved as tantric massage or neotantric, encompassing bodywork on many levels: physical, mental, and energetic.
Its goal is a broadly understood transformation in the space of the heart through the body, leading to the cleansing or healing of a person. It includes work with nudity, life energy, work with intimate parts, with the whole body, in which fears, past traumas, unspoken emotions, resulting from assumptions, social programs, inherited family patterns, which block development and disrupt human life functions, may be hidden.
From the perspective of a person who has never experienced tantric massage, it is often difficult to decide to go for such a massage because it is quite an intimate type of bodywork, for which to decide, one must break the patterns associated with self-criticism and fears imposed from outside. A step into the unknown and
the unfamiliarity of the person who will be conducting the sessions further fuels
uncertainty.
However, it is worth breaking through and taking the first step. A phone conversation or email exchange with the person conducting the session can dispel doubts and make it much easier for us to make a decision. It’s best to start with gentle sessions to safely check how much it suits us.
Step 1. Senses Wide Open
A basic session for beginners, introducing the world of tantric massage, containing a Ritual that harmonizes the body and prepares it for work. During the massage, we have the opportunity to get used to nudity, intimacy, and allow ourselves to feel pleasure throughout the body. This session is an incredibly beautiful form of paying tribute to the person receiving the massage, during which female and male energy is connected and balanced. “Senses…” can be experienced multiple times, and each session seems different until we are ready for the next step.

Step 2. Kashmiri Massage
Kashmiri massage is focused on awakening life energy, feeling pleasure, and its uniqueness lies in introducing us to selfless physical closeness – enveloping the body. This closeness provides a field of possibilities to get rid of: negative associations related to it, fears programmed by general social norms, barriers related to gender, physicality, and partnership dependence.
This session is a lesson in receiving touch, allowing closeness without guilt, self-criticism, and deriving pleasure from it. When we feel that we are fully integrated with feeling pleasure, we can allow ourselves sessions leading to healing.

Step 3. Dance of the Fiery Serpent
A massage ritual focused on healing. It can be undertaken after harmonizing sessions, introducing the world of tantric massage (Senses…, Kashmir), after working through barriers related to nudity, intimacy, or closeness. The serpent session involves entering into serpent energy, inviting and accepting our inner animal aspect, which has been repressed, rejected, deemed bad or inappropriate in the process of social domestication.
In this massage, it is about confronting your repressed part, often evoking negative associations, to accept it in the heart and acknowledge it as part of our existence, which becomes something that serves us, not hinders us. To give
voice to the unspoken, so it can leave. Then, cleansed, free from fears, we stand in full inner power and in the creation of existence. The session includes massage of intimate parts along with chakra cleansing.

Step 4. Birth of the Dragon
A massage ritual focused on healing. It is an act of transformation,
comparable to the metamorphosis of a chrysalis into a butterfly, the death of the old and the birth of a new quality, making space in the inner space, immersing in emptiness, so that it can then be embraced by a breath of freshness. Here, fear gives way to courage and inner power of creation. We are reborn synchronized with our animal aspect.
After the transformation, dragon energy is born in our hearts, for which fears, anxieties, or various psychological obstacles have been forgotten. The dragon, standing in full power, burns away what is unnecessary, so that new life can appear.
Before each session, during the initial conversation, the goal and physical boundaries in the massage are determined. There is the possibility of narrowing physical boundaries during the session in accordance with the principle of not overstepping.
